Assoc. Prof. Levent Bayraktar was born in Ankara in 1972. He completed his primary, middle and high school education there. In 1989, he entered the Philosophy Department of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography at Ankara University. He received his bachelor’s degree from the same university in 1993, his master’s degree in 1997 and his doctorate in 2003, respectively. He became Research Assistant in 1995 at the Faculty and Department he graduated from, an Assist. Prof. in 2004 at the Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Sociology and an Assoc. Prof. in 2011 at Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Philosophy. He currently is the President of the Department of History of Philosophy. Besides his one-author books entitled Bergson’da Ruh-Beden İlişkisi (İstanbul 2010), Felsefe ile; Türk Düşüncesinden Portreler (Ankara 2014, 2016), Cumhuriyet Döneminde Türkiye’de Felsefe; Medeniyet ve Felsefe; Felsefe ve Tasavvuf; Bergson (Ankara 2016), he edited Birleyerek Oluşmak (Ankara 2013, 2016) which consists of his conversations with Assoc. Prof. Fulya Bayraktar and Prof. Kenan Gürsoy and also Bergson ve Felsefesi (Konya 2014); Bergson’dan Mustafa Şekip’e “Gülme” (Ankara 2015) by Subhi Edhem along with Research Assistant Zeynep Tek. His articles were published in academic, cultural and popular magazines such as Yahya Kemal Enstitüsü Mecmuası, Kurgan Edebiyat, Lapsus, Yeni Türkiye, Düşünen Siyaset, Başka, Hece Öykü, Referans, Gelenekten Geleceğe, Yeni Balkan, Dil-i Halvet, Felsefe ve Sosyal-Siyasal Bilimler. DOÇ. DR. / ASSOC. PROF. MARCUS GRAF 1974, Almanya’da doğdu. Hildesheim Üniversitesi’nde Kültür Bilimi ve Estetik İletişimi Fakültesi’ndeki Plastik Sanatlar ve Sanat Bilimi Bölümü’nde okuduktan sonra çeşitli sanat kurumlarında proje yöneticisi, küratör, eğitmen, yazar ve sanatçı olarak çalıştı. 2010 yılında Almanya’daki Stuttgart Devlet Sanat Akademisi’ndeki Çağdaş Sanat Tarihi, Estetik ve Sanat Teorisi Enstitüsü’nde doktora ünvanı alan Graf, 2003 yılından beri Yeditepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesinde öğretim üyesi ve 2012’de doçentlik ünvanı kazandı. 2001’den beri İstanbul’da yaşayan Marcus Graf, Siemens Sanat, Baksı Müzesi, ve Elgiz Müzesi gibi çeşitli kurum ve etkinliklerde küratörlük yapmıştır. Yüze yakın serginin küratörlüğüne yapan Graf, halen Plato Sanat’ın daimi küratörü olarak görevine devam etmektedir. Marcus Graf (Dr. Phil.) was born in 1974 in Germany. After studying Cultural Sciences and Esthetical Communication in the Institute for Fine Arts, Aesthetics and Art History at the University of Hildesheim in Germany, he received his PhD in 2010 from the Institute of Contemporary Art History, Aesthetic and Art Theory at Stuttgart Art Academy in Germany and became Assoc. Prof. for Contemporary Art History and Theory at the Fine Art Faculty at Yeditepe University, where he teaches since 2003. Graf lives and works in Istanbul since 2001. He has been the curator of nearly 100 exhibitions in institutions such as Siemens Sanat, Baksı Museum and Elgiz Museum. Currently, Marcus Graf is the resident curator of Plato Sanat.
